You don't need to buy expansion packs or anything like that. I's ONLY on the ios version and possibly the android version. I checked the wiki and it never said anything about buying the ap coordinates at a station. If they would actually support the PC version and develop it instead of stupid iOS, they wouldn't be bankrupt.

The video below shows you all the ships available in the Galaxy on Fire 2 game without the SuperNova and Valkyrie expansions. Once you have collected all the ships, it is possible to get the Ship Collector medal by flying 5 more duplicate ships to your Kaamo space station. The game does not keep track of how many unique ships you have, only how many ships you flew into the Kaamo Club. Try to get 2 of each of the low cost ships and you should get the 50 ships total to get the medal including the ship you fly in, that would be 51 ships total.
